BALTIMORE CHAPTER PRESIDENT
VOLUNTEER NEEDED!!!
Responsible for administration of all aspects of
the chapter including presiding at board meetings and general
chapter meetings, strategic planning, encouraging membership
growth, facilitating completion of subordinate officers
activities, and delegating needed tasks to the appropriate officer
or member.

EXECUTIVE
VP
VOLUNTEER NEEDED!!!
Responsible for working with vice presidents to
help facilitate the completion of their duties and working with
the president to set the agenda of the
chapter. This office tends to be the precursor to taking on the
office of president.

SECRETARY
VOLUNTEER NEEDED!!!
Responsible for preparing / distributing meeting agendas,
recording minutes of board meetings, recording attendance at board
meetings, recording chapter activities, and acting as central
source for distributing communications to board members and
chapter members.

TREASURER

Responsible for the day to day financial aspects of running the
chapter including collecting funds, distributing funds, handling
deposits, and budgeting.

VP AWARDS
GOLF TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
VOLUNTEER NEEDED!!!
Responsible for assuring members receive proper recognition for
their continuing membership and activities within the chapter.
Golf Tournament Committee is responsible for all
details of the our annual tournament: plan the event, sell
participation, solicit sponsorships, golf. All profits go to our
chapter's Scholarship Fund.

VP COMMUNICATION
Deanna Biehl
Responsible for all aspects of member
communication including sending out e-mails, postal correspondence
and website maintenance about current and future events and
meetings.

VP MEMBERSHIP
Gina Hergenhahn
Director of Placement Computer Training.com
Responsible for all aspects of promoting and
retaining membership. Encourage guests to join and members
to renew. Greeting all who attend meetings and events to
make them feel welcome. Although all members are encouraged to
help grow membership by getting new members to join and existing
members to renew,
the role of this office is very important for long term growth of
the chapter.

Responsible for all aspects of interacting with members to
encourage renewal of membership including maintaining chapter
membership database, getting member feedback on chapter
activities, and assessing interest in chapter committee
involvement. Response for collecting funds at meetings and
events and working with organizations which provide chapter with
meeting resources (i.e., space for meetings).

Responsible for all aspects of scheduling
speakers for chapter's meetings and events including selecting
cutting edge topics and obtaining qualified interesting speakers.
Responsible for all aspects of technical sessions and educational
events such as planning, deciding topics, obtaining speakers with
the proper technical background and encouraging attendance.

VP PUBLIC RELATIONS
Mark Moore
Responsible for all aspects of public relations for the chapter
including advertising chapter activities in trade journals and
publications, advertising membership benefits and sponsor
opportunities at meetings and events, helping other officers and
committees advertise their activities, and attending trade shows.

VP SCHOLARSHIP
VOLUNTEER NEEDED!!!
Responsible for all aspects of administering the chapters' college
scholarship program including advertising scholarships, processing
applications, determining eligibility, and awarding scholarships
at a chapter meeting. Includes all aspects of scholarship
fundraising including working with the Golf Tournament and
Oktoberfest Committees.

VP STUDENT ACTIVITIES
VOLUNTEER NEEDED!!!
Responsible for all aspects of working with local student chapters
of AITP including interfacing with faculty advisors, helping
student chapters promote membership and encouraging graduating
students to join local chapter.

Responsible for working with the current chapter president and
other board members in an advisory role to insure the continued
growth and success of the chapter, acting as chairman of bylaws
committee, and assisting in annual budget planning process.

Responsible for all aspects of working region and association
board of directors including relaying information between chapter
and region/association, attending region meetings and conferences,
and informing chapter of regional / association resources which
are available.
