What is AITP ?
AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals) is an international organization for information
technology professionals which has been in existence since 1951.
Mission
AITP offers opportunities for Information
Technology (IT) leadership and education through
partnerships with industry, government and academia. AITP
provides quality IT related education, information on
relevant IT issues and forums for networking with
experienced peers and other IT professionals. Affirmed June,
2004.
Vision
AITP will be, and will be recognized as,
the Information Technology professional organization of
choice for providing leadership opportunities, professional
development and personal growth. Adopted June, 2004.
Baltimore Chapter Information
The Baltimore Chapter of AITP is one of the
largest chapters in the nation with approximately 100+ active
members. Baltimore has been recognized as the Region XI
Outstanding Chapter of the Year for 2000 & 2002. We also
won AITP's
Outstanding Association Chapter of the Year for 1998.
In 2007 we started having regular "Melting Pot" Networking
session meetings. Bring lots of business cards
and be prepared to meet people. Find a connection to your
interests, or a connection to help solve a problem you have.
